As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we want to make our response clear and show some of the changes we are implementing in our offerings to all paid customers, effective immediately.
File Storage Expanded and Team Member Limits Lifted
We understand that customers may experience an unforeseen rise in remote working; we want to help ease the burden so we are expanding file storage limits from now until the next month by providing everyone with an extra 10GB of storage, shared across all the Workspace apps. This is exclusively available to users that have joined the platform before January 1st, 2020.
Infrastructure Reliability and Downtime
In line with our mission to make teamwork simple and seamless, we are working to upgrade our backend infrastructure so that we can avoid downtime and maintain a high standard of reliability for our services. To accomplish this, we will be conducting some maintenance to fix a major downtime for accounts services and APIs that occurred on March 10, 2020.
We are also working with our cloud partners to deliver an uninterrupted experience and aim to completely eliminate downtime and rapidly build-up capacity to maintain reliable service during demand peaks, especially on resource-intensive services such as the rendering of 3D models with Carbon Model or exporting high-definition video with Carbon Video.
Health and Safety at Team Labs
The welfare of our Ninjas, partners, and customers has always been of the highest priority for us. Due to the highly infectious nature of the COVID-19 coronavirus, we have implemented a number of measures to safeguard our community. We have suspended all events across all our offices, enacting remote work policies for all Team Labs employees, limiting all non-essential travel, closed down workplaces in virus-stricken locations, and have been improving hygiene and sanitation across our offices.
We have been working hard to build the future of work with the Workspace platform and going forward into 2020, we have some amazing things lined up that we are excited to share with the community.
